Crossroads a powerful group art exhibition at Ellis House Art Centre 19 March – 12 April 2026 showcasing a diverse group of local artists as we explore the theme of change, choice, and transition. Each artist will interpret the idea of a “crossroad” in their own way, using a wide range of materials and styles, including painting, sculpture, photography, print making, digital imaging and mixed media. The result will be a rich, layered collection of work that speaks to moments of decision, personal growth, and the unknown paths ahead.
Some pieces will be deeply personal, reflecting major life events or inner struggles. Others will focus on broader themes, exploring shifts in community, culture, or the environment. The exhibition will highlight the talent and voices of local artists from different backgrounds, each offering a unique view of what it means to stand at a crossroads. The artists in Crossroads are connected not just by their talent, but by their lived experiences. Whether literal or symbolic, these works will invite visitors to reflect on their own experiences and the decisions that shape their lives.
Whether you're facing your own crossroads or simply curious about the stories behind the art, the exhibition will offer something deeply human and relatable.
